The Kimberley is under threat!

Posted on May 19th, 2009 by gardenjools : Artist/writer gardenjools
Surely most Australians would know of The Kimberley Region in Western Australia. It is a place that can be considered a National treasure for its untouched and spiritual beauty. It is a place that I personally have goals of going to and wish for it to remain the natural historic environment that it is! The Government however have plans to surge right through the guts of it with a gas pipeline, even though the infrastructure is already set up for the Pilbara...go figure??? The way to stop this monumental pack rape of this region is to nominate it for World Heritage listing, an invisible fence to keep the area from degrading! Should this eventuate, it will also promote Australia as a leader of conservation, provide jobs and employment across the country and raise millions of dollars in tourism revenue. It is so easy to do!! I have done it myself...please go to

How does it feel to be able to help? Damn fine, damn fine!!!
