On the move!

Over the past 2 and a half months (well...since I returned from my trip to Darwin!) I have been looking for a place to live that would suit me well for many years to come. I scanned the net for holiday destinations to help me make up my mind..then it dawned on me that I already knew a place that was beautiful, had other artistic souls, and a community that was welcoming as well as friends I already had there! I am moving to the mid north coast of NSW.. a place I lived 25 yrs ago. And..I am moving tomorrow!
I found a wonderful house which will enable me to pursue that dream of painting and writing, with a double garage (my studio/gallery), a spare bedroom for guests and an office to write in, a granny flat for wayward teenagers needing some time out (or more visitors!!) and a beautiful setting in a garden that is more like parkland than garden.
I have already begun the process of organising an exhibition up there as well as offering my services to the local school in the form of putting on shows and theatre productions for the students and community. I can just be a girl with a dicky leg who loves the arts..and accepted as that. No more scrutiny or pity. I am getting on with a life that I can lead happily.
I now also have a diagnosis..it was a thought 12 mths ago, but was not followed up on. I have torn the adductor tendon from the insertion to my pelvis, my greatest fear is that I have been left for way too long (20 mths!!) and my options are pain relief only. Thats ok, I can deal with it far better if the pain is less! So...here I go!
